Once that pregnancy test shows up positive, you’ve got a thing or two on your mind. Not only is it time to take extra special care of yourself, but soon you’ll have a little one to take care of, too. First thing’s first: breathe. It seems like everything is happening fast, but, trust me, you have plenty of time to prepare your body and your home for baby. Second, see your physician and begin a list of what things to knock off your daily diet and address how to adjust your exercise routine. Third, start thinking about what simple steps you can take to make your environment a bit safer for your and baby’s health.

Try working your way through this easy list of home and body adjustments to give you and baby a healthy advantage right from the start.
