Spring has sprung, so break out all of those cleaning supplies and start new again! Spring cleaning can be a hassle, but anyway to limit the amount of toxins and cleaners present in your house is a must! And we have a DIY way to clean those dirty little makeup brushes of yours!

Makeup brushes can hold a lot more bacteria than you would expect, but a simple solution can be hiding right in your kiddo’s closet – baby shampoo.

Baby shampoo is a simple and easy way to clean your brushes for dry makeup. Simply, run your brush under the faucet, take a bowl with warm water and a teaspoon of the shampoo, swirl around with your brush (using your fingers to get any stubborn clumps out), rinse off under the faucet again, and leave out to dry overnight. Simple as that!
