Disodium 5′ -inosinate

Disodium 5′ -inosinate: A flavor enhancer/intensifier that is typically used in conjunction with MSG and occasionally disodium guanylate. When combined it’s known as as disodium 5′-ribonucleotides. As a purine, a naturally occurring precursor to DNA and RNA, it’s typically derived from animal origins. Disodium inosinate is completely ineffective without MSG.
