Polyvinyl Chloride: Polyvinyl chloride is also referred to as vinyl or pvc, is the third-most widely produced synthetic plastic polymer, after polyethylene and polypropylene.
It is used in toys and clothing, flooring, mattresses, and more, this ubiquitous plastic is often softened with phthalates and is linked with cancer. PVC is also an established environmental toxin, and many argue that it should be banned from all applications.
