Safecoat® Safe Seal
USE ON:
Processed wood such as plywood, particleboard and pressed wood.
LIMITATIONS:
Safecoat paints are made without formaldehyde preservatives. Do not contaminate. Store in air-tight containers. Do not use when the indoor temperature is below 55 degrees F. Do not freeze. Thick application, high humidity or conditions other than normal will cause Safecoat to dry and cure more slowly.
SURFACE PREPARATION:
Clean surfaces of dirt, grease, mildew and oil. The surface should be completely dry before application. Always spot test for adhesion over prior coatings.
APPLICATION:
Before using, stir Safecoat Safe Seal by gently rolling the container to avoid air bubbles. Then apply as is, using a sponge, squeegee or appropriate spray equipment. It is important to apply in very thin coats. Due to the softness of Safe Seal, multiple coats can remain slightly tacky.
CLEAN-UP:
Clean tools and equipment while they are still wet with a warm soapy water solution.
DRYING/CURING TIME:
Re-coatable after 2 hours in normal conditions. Normal conditions include a dry surface, access to fresh air flow, moderate humidity,
and temperatures above 55 degrees F
HEALTH PRECAUTIONS:
As with all coatings and sealers, keep the container tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not take it internally. Keep from freezing. Always use adequate ventilation.
